Curtis Team Led by Partner Hermann Ferré Cited in Law360 Article on Puerto Rican Resident's Access to Benefits

Law360 published an article titled "Case Tests Limits On Puerto Ricans' Access To Benefits," in their ‘Access to Justice’ section, highlighting Curtis’ role in representation of Puerto Rico resident, Jose Luis Vaello Madero, in a case with historic significance for the constitutional rights of Puerto Rico residents.

Led by litigation and arbitration group partner Hermann Ferré and associates Juan Perla, Robert Groot, Andrew Larkin and Joshua Hershman, Curtis has been acting on a pro bono basis for Vaello Madero’s defense. Earlier this year, Curtis attorneys secured a positive outcome for their client in the United States District Court for the District of Puerto Rico, Following that, the United States filed an appeal and the case is now pending in the First Circuit.
