David Bayrock Ranked in Top 100 Foreign Lawyers in Latin America by Latinvex

Curtis partner David Bayrock has been selected as one of the 100 top lawyers from international law firms doing business in Latin America by the editorial staff of Latinvex.

The rankings are based on a Latinvex survey of firms and their clients and peers as well as public information, such as press releases and website profiles, from the respective law firms.

The Top 100 list includes attorneys from firms of all sizes and spans six major categories (arbitration & litigation, banking & finance, capital markets, corporate/M&A, energy and project finance) as well as other specialties, including the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA).

Latinvex based the rankings on a range of factors, including recent major deals and business, prominence of the lawyer’s firm in Latin America and rankings by third parties such as Chambers and Partners, Legal 500 and Thomson Reuters.

Mr. Bayrock is a partner in Curtis’ Finance group. He focuses principally on international financing transactions, including project finance and debt restructurings. Mr. Bayrock has represented borrowers, including governmental and private entities, as well as lenders. He also has counseled corporate clients in major mergers and acquisitions transactions and in a wide range of general corporate and contract matters.
