Frankfurt, January 9, 2015 — Curtis, Mallet-Prevost, Colt & Mosle has announced the arrival of new real estate partners Dr. Anja Disput and Dr. Oliver M. Hübner to the international law firm's Frankfurt office. They will lead a five-strong real estate focused team, which will include current and new associates in Frankfurt.
Dr. Disput, who was previously a partner at Taylor Wessing in Frankfurt, advises both domestic and international investors and owners on commercial real estate with a focus on real estate transactions, in the field of legal asset management and real estate related compliance. In addition, she has deep experience of special use real estate, in particular hotels and shopping centres.
Dr. Hübner, who joins Curtis from LPA Lefèvre Pelletier & associés' Frankfurt office, focuses mainly on real estate and has advised both domestic and international clients on real estate transactions, development projects and all legal asset management questions. He also advises on the full gamut of public law, bringing another dimension to the firm's Frankfurt team.
Curtis Frankfurt Managing Partner Marc V. Kramer said, “These hires bring Curtis a depth of real estate capability to Frankfurt, which we know our current domestic and international clients both want and need. Anja and Oliver's practices complement Curtis' strong domestic corporate, private equity, asset management and international funds practices.”
Dr. Disput said, “We are excited to join a young, dynamic team in Frankfurt, which is also part of a far larger international practice. Curtis has a strong history as a firm, as well as a clear commitment to future expansion in Europe, which is very appealing”.
“Anja and I have worked together successfully in the past and look forward to reuniting and combining our strengths with the Curtis team in Frankfurt”, said Dr. Hübner.
The hires follow the announcement by Curtis in November 2014 of the arrival of two real estate focused partners to the firm's new Rome office, reflecting a period of growth and consolidation across the firm's thriving European operations.
