John Balouziyeh Addresses Yale Symposium on Challenges to Global Justice Systems

Partner John Balouziyeh will speak at a symposium hosted by Yale University on Friday, 24 April 2026, bringing together leading practitioners, academics, and policymakers to examine how the erosion of international norms is reshaping conflict and testing global justice systems.

Mr. Balouziyeh will join Ambassador Christian Wenaweser, Permanent Representative of Liechtenstein to the United Nations; Professor Harold Hongju Koh, Sterling Professor of International Law at Yale Law School; and Elizabeth Evenson, International Justice Program Director at Human Rights Watch, for a panel titled “Accountability in the Age of Impunity.” The discussion will be moderated by Kip Hale, Chief of Staff of The Reckoning Project.

Hosted by The Reckoning Project in partnership with Yale University, the one-day symposium will explore the role of evidence, documentation, and civil society in preserving the prospects for accountability.
