Event 02 Nov. 2026
Juan Perla will join a panel on “Managing Global Business Risk in a Fragmenting World: Tariffs, Technology, and Supply Chains” for the American Society of International Law’s midyear conference hosted by the Santa Clara Law School in the heart of Silicon Valley in Santa Clara, California.
The panel will discuss how global business is increasingly shaped by geopolitical tensions, tariffs, technology restrictions, supply-chain pressures, and a more fragmented cross-border regulatory environment. The discussion will examine how these developments are affecting commercial strategy, investment, sourcing, the location of operations, and international business models across key markets. It will also explore what these changes mean for businesses and practitioners managing legal, regulatory, and operational risk across borders.
Panelists include Suchitra Narayen, deputy general counsel at Informatica/Salesforce, Michael Haven, global head of legal operations at Meta, and Anne Seymour of Wilson Sonsini, and will be moderated by Michael Jones, senior counsel at Zoom.
The panel will take place at Wilson Sonsini’s Palo Alto office on November 5, 2026, at 4 pm PT.
