Juan Perla to Speak at NYU Law on the Roles of Litigators and In-House Counsel in Corporate Disputes

Partner Juan Perla has been invited to speak on a panel, titled “Litigation, Transactional, In-House: Defining Corporate Law,” for the 2026 SEO LawCon at New York University School of Law. The focus of the discussion will be on pulling back the curtain on litigation, corporate, and in-house roles—not just what each one does, but how they interact, influence business decisions, and shape outcomes. The panel will include Lauren Howard, SVP of Legal Compliance at Blackstone, Michael Ye of Wachtell, Evan Yoo of Freshfields, and J’Naia Boyd of Baker & Hostetler, and will be moderated by Chauneice Davis, SEO Law Director. SEO (Sponsors for Educational Opportunity) was founded by an investment banking consultant as a mentoring program to help students gain admission to competitive colleges and universities. The panel will be held on May 21, 2026.
