Lizabeth Burrell to represent the Maritime Bar at the Southern District Court of NY's 225th anniversary

Counsel Lizabeth Burrell will represent the Maritime Bar at a special session held by the Southern District Court of New York (SDNY) on November 4 to celebrate the 225th anniversary of the SDNY Court. The first session of the Court was held by Judge Duane in November 1789 making it the first Court to convene under the new United States Constitution. The event will feature reenactments of trials, lectures, and exhibits featuring historical artifacts such as the Silver Oar of the British Vice Admiralty Court for the Province of New York donated by Charles Culp Burlingham.
