Partner Borzu Sabahi Speaks at a Workshop for Government Officials in India

Washington, D.C.-based partner Dr. Borzu Sabahi delivered a video-recorded speech at a workshop on Investment Treaties and Investor-State Dispute Settlement System on March 8, 2019, held in New Delhi, India. Dr. Sabahi spoke on the topic "International Investment Arbitration: A Global Perspective” as part of a broader session on "Fundamental Features of Bilateral Investment Treaties."

The event was co-organized by the Department of Economic Affairs Government of India and the Centre for Trade and Investment Law, Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), to provide an understanding of investment treaty-related issues and how various Indian government departments and agencies could avoid and defend the country’s interests in investment disputes.
