Partner Charles Howland Quoted in Spotlight PA Article on PFAS Groundwater Contamination

Curtis partner and Environmental Group head Charles Howland was interviewed for, and quoted in, a recent article by the investigative journalism consortium Spotlight PA regarding legal liability issues associated with groundwater contamination from PFAS, one of the so-called “forever chemicals,” in a residential community in State College, Pennsylvania. Mr. Howland addressed the impact that EPA’s planned designation of PFAS as a “hazardous substance” under the federal Superfund law will have on homeowners’ access to legal redress.
