Partner Claudia Frutos-Peterson to Speak at ABA's 2018 Investment Arbitration & Trans-Pacific Transactions Conference

Washington, D.C. partner Claudia Frutos-Peterson will participate in the American Bar Association’s 2018 Investment Arbitration & Trans-Pacific Transactions Conference, taking place at Maxwell Chambers in Singapore on May 10-11, 2018. The conference will facilitate a discussion of ISDS in the Asia-Pacific region, and will explore emerging issues, recent rules and regulations relating to international arbitration. Confirmed attendees include government officials and practitioners, including ICSID Secretary General Meg Kinner.

Ms. Frutos-Peterson will speak on a panel entitled, “Quantum as Part of the State’s Strategy to Articulate an Effective Defense in Investment Arbitration,” taking place on the afternoon of May 10^th. The panel will explore perspectives assumptions and arguments typically made by counsel and damages experts for investor and State clients.
