Partner Claudia Frutos-Peterson to Speak at ABA's 2018 Investment Arbitration & Trans-Pacific Transactions Conference

Washington, D.C. partner Claudia Frutos-Peterson will participate in the American Bar Association’s 2018 Investment Arbitration & Trans-Pacific Transactions Conference, taking place at Maxwell Chambers in Singapore on May 10-11, 2018. The conference will facilitate a discussion of ISDS in the Asia-Pacific region, and will explore emerging issues, recent rules and regulations relating to international arbitration. Confirmed attendees include government officials and practitioners, including ICSID Secretary General Meg Kinner.

Ms. Frutos-Peterson will speak on a panel entitled, “Quantum as Part of the State’s Strategy to Articulate an Effective Defense in Investment Arbitration,” taking place on the afternoon of May 10th. The panel will explore perspectives assumptions and arguments typically made by counsel and damages experts for investor and State clients.
