Partner Claudia Frutos-Peterson to speak at Inter-Sessional Regional Meeting on Investor-State Dispute Settlement Reform

Washington, D.C. Managing Partner Claudia Frutos-Peterson will speak today in a round table discussion entitled "ISDS tribunal independence and impartiality, challenges and possible reform options", as part of a broader section on "Arbitrators and Decision-Makers". The event is part of the Second Inter-Sessional Regional Meeting on Investor-State Dispute Settlement Reform, taking place in Santo Domingo, and which is organized by UNCITRAL, the Ministry of Commerce of the Dominican Republic (MICM) and DICOEX. The discussion will also include representatives of several states, including Belize, Canada, Cuba, and Mexico; and Dr. Frutos-Peterson will also be joined by Catherine Rogers from Penn State Law.
