Partner Marc Hammerson Speaks on Escrow Accounts at Tashkent Legal Conference

Partner Marc Hammerson and Legal Analyst Arslan Makharamov attended the conference “Modernization of Civil Legislation at the Present Stage of Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan” held in Tashkent on Wednesday, 29 October.

The event brought together legal experts, academics, and government representatives to discuss the ongoing reforms and modernization of Uzbekistan’s civil law framework.

During the conference, Marc Hammerson delivered a presentation on “Escrow Accounts – an English-law Perspective for Uzbekistan." Following his presentation, Marc Hammerson was invited to give an interview to local media to further discuss the topic and its relevance to Uzbekistan’s legal and business community.
