Trusts and Estates and Private Client Partner Michael S. Schwartz will speak on July 16 at the New York University School of Professional Studies’ 2019 Tax Conferences in July series. His lecture will cover “The Basics of Basis in Estate Planning”.
This session will focus on the fundamental shifts in estate planning for high-net-worth clients under the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017 and provide an overview of cost basis considerations for income tax purposes and discuss its increased importance in trust and estate planning. This follows Mr. Schwartz’s 2017 and 2018 lectures at NYU’s School of Professional Studies.
