Partner Simon Batifort Speaks at 2019 ASIL Midyear Meeting

Partner Simon Batifort will lead a session entitled “Regime Interaction: Investment and…?” at the Midyear Meeting of the American Society of International Law (ASIL), which will take place at Brooklyn Law School on November 9, 2019. His panel will feature Professors Tomer Broude, Caroline Henckels, Stratos Pahis and Vera Korzun, who will present forthcoming law review articles on the respective roles of investor rights and human rights in investment treaty arbitration, the enforcement of “soft law” instruments, and the distinction between investments and commercial transactions in ICSID arbitration. Mr. Batifort will moderate the session and act as discussant.
