INSOL International
Mexico City-based partners Rodrigo Valverde and Santiago Corcuera, together with associate Irene Cuellar, authored a chapter on Mexican insolvency in INSOL International’s “Treatment of Secured Claims in Insolvency and Pre-Insolvency Proceedings II,” published in November 2020. The chapter provides valuable insights for creditors operating in Mexico, covering security rights available for real and immovable property under Mexican law and how to enforce these rights, as well as practical considerations for navigating pre-insolvency proceedings under the concurso mercantil and formal bankruptcy proceedings.
You can refer to the attachment or download an extract of the chapter here. The full publication is available to INSOL International members on www.insol.org.
