Philippe Habib and Ashley Connick Speak on M&A at the Université Paris-Panthéon-Assas

Philippe Habib and Ashley Connick were recently invited by the Université Paris-Panthéon-Assas to deliver lectures to members of its University Leadership Council, which comprises senior business executives and professionals enrolled in the university’s Executive Master of Law in Leadership program. The lectures took place on 22 and 23 September and focused on the mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and auction sales process.

Drawing from their experience advising purchasers and sellers on M&A transactions across the region, the sessions provided practical insights into transaction and purchase price structures, key legal documentation across the deal lifecycle, negotiation strategies, value protection mechanisms for purchasers, and limitations on liability for sellers.

The Council comprises senior business executives and professionals enrolled in the university’s Executive Master of Law in Leadership program. Philippe Habib and Ashley Connick were able to contribute to the program and share experience advising clients on complex M&A transactions across diverse industries.
