Restructuring and Insolvency Team Members Author Article in the Review of Banking & Financial Services

Restructuring & Insolvency partner and chair Lynn P. Harrison III and associate Peter J. Buenger co-authored an article titled “Enforceability of Foreign Insolvency Judgements: In Re Agrokor D.D., et al.” in the Review of Banking & Financial Services in January 2019. The authors discuss varied approaches to enforcement applied in London, Singapore, and by bankruptcy Judge Glenn in the Agrokor case in New York City. They examine in detail Judge Glenn’s findings with respect to comity, discretionary relief, and due process in approving the enforcement of a settlement agreement entered into and approved in Agrokor’s Croatian insolvency proceeding.
