Simon Batifort and Lise Johnson Speak at the CCSI's Executive Training on Investment Treaties and Arbitration for Government Officials

Partners Simon Batifort and Lise Johnson spoke at the annual Executive Training on Investment Treaties and Arbitration for Government Officials, hosted by the Columbia Center on Sustainable Investment, taking place this week. This program addresses the issues, opportunities and challenges governments face in connection with investment treaties and efforts to manage, reform – or exit from – those agreements.

Brussels and New York partner Simon Batifort’s session addressed Assessing and Mitigating ISDS Risk, focusing on the important issues of damages and third-party funding.

London partner Lise Johnson taught the session on the UNCITRAL WGIII ISDS Reform Process, and also participated as a panelist in the session on Emerging Trends and Practices in Treaty Drafting.
