Simon Batifort Lectures at Queen Mary University of London’s 2024 Executive Course on International Investment Law and Arbitration

Partner Simon Batifort (New York & Brussels) has been invited to lecture as part of Queen Mary University of London’s 2024 Executive Course on International Investment Law and Arbitration. On Tuesday, October 15, he will address the topic of National Treatment and Most-Favored-Nation (MFN) Treatment provisions in investment treaties and their application by arbitral tribunals.

This lecture is part of a 10-week online course designed primarily for Governmental officials wishing to build their capacity to handle arbitrations involving foreign investors (i.e., government lawyers, representatives from governmental institutions and local authorities, judges, and treaty negotiators). The course is also open to academics, in-house lawyers, and professionals working in international and non-governmental organizations.
