Simon Batifort Speaks at 8th Inter-Sessional Meeting of UNCITRAL Working Group III in China

Partner Simon Batifort has been invited to speak at the 8th Inter-Sessional Meeting of UNCITRAL Working Group III that will take place in Chengdu, China, on October 24-25. The meeting is organized by the Secretariat of the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL) and the Chinese Minister of Commerce (MOFCOM). Simon will speak on a panel addressing the draft statute being elaborated within UNCITRAL Working Group III to set up a standing mechanism for settling investor-State disputes. His panel will also feature David Bigge (US State Department), Sun Zhao (China’s MOFCOM), Joost Pauwelyn (Geneva Graduate Institute), Michele Potestà (Lévy Kaufmann-Kohler), and Huawei Sun (Zhong Lun).
