Chair of Curtis’ global investment management practice, Mr. Ruggiero offers strategic advice to clients on the structuring of funds. He has experience in all aspects of the structuring, documenting and operating of offshore investment funds and U.S. private investment funds, including hedge funds, private equity funds, venture capital funds, feeder funds and fund of funds, leveraged buyout funds and other pooled investment management vehicles.
In addition, Mr. Ruggiero offers experienced counsel on the regulatory framework governing the private investment activities of funds and their investment managers both within the U.S. and internationally.

Mr. Ruggiero also counsels U.S. and international clients on the U.S. securities laws, the Investment Company Act and the Investment Advisers Act as they relate to private funds.
