Jean Marie Lambert focuses her practice on representing sovereign states and state-owned entities in international dispute resolution including investor-state treaty arbitrations, commercial arbitrations, and U.S.-based litigations.
Ms. Lambert has represented sovereign clients in all manner of international dispute resolution including investor-state treaty arbitrations and proceedings relating to the enforcement and setting aside of arbitral awards before New York courts. Ms. Lambert also represents commercial clients in international arbitrations, cross-border litigations, and economic sanctions work.
Ms. Lambert maintains a pro bono practice which included being a part of the team that prepared the Supreme Court oral argument in United States v. Vaello-Madero. Ms. Lambert also handles immigration cases pro bono.
While studying at Columbia Law School, Ms. Lambert served as Editor-in-Chief of the American Review of International Arbitration. Ms. Lambert also served as a researcher for the Columbia Center on Sustainable Investment.
