Jean Marie Lambert

Ms. Lambert’s representation of sovereign clients encompasses all manner of international dispute resolution, including both investor-state treaty and commercial arbitration under the auspices of ICSID, ICC, PCA and SCC. Ms. Lambert has also represented sovereign states in U.S. litigation, including proceedings relating to enforcement and setting aside of arbitral awards. Similarly, Ms. Lambert represents commercial clients in international arbitration, cross-border litigation, and economic sanctions matters.

In addition, Ms. Lambert maintains a pro bono practice which included being part of the Curtis team that prepared the Supreme Court oral argument in United States v. Vaello-Madero. Ms. Lambert has also handled immigration cases pro bono.

While studying at Columbia Law School, Ms. Lambert served as Editor-in-Chief of the American Review of International Arbitration. Ms. Lambert has also served as a researcher for the Columbia Center on Sustainable Investment.
