Martin Forman’s practice focuses on representing clients in U.S. and international real estate purchase, sale, lease and finance transactions across all property classes.
Mr. Forman chairs the firm’s real estate group and has many years of experience working on all types of complex real estate matters on behalf of both landlords and tenants, including the acquisition and sale of commercial and residential properties, the negotiation of office, retail, shopping center, warehouse and net leases, and the financing and refinancing of various types of commercial and residential properties. Based in New York, he has represented lenders in the financing of properties throughout the United States. As part of his practice, Mr. Forman counsels clients in structuring transactions, providing strategic guidance in order to address the unique needs of his clients. He has also represented clients in sale/leaseback transactions and in connection with tax-free exchanges.
