Curtis Deal Honored with 2014 Americas M&A Atlas Award

The sale of two key subsidiaries by Cardiff Holdings Corp., represented by Curtis, Mallet-Prevost, Colt & Mosle LLP, was selected as the Financial Tech & Services Deal of the Year (under $1 billion) at the 2014 Americas M&A Atlas Awards.

In the transaction, which closed in April 2014, Cardiff Holdings sold its Shoreline Business Solutions, Inc. and Source One Direct, Inc. subsidiaries to Gemalto, the world leader in digital security, enabling Gemalto to extend its product offerings in the secure and personalized card services market space and establish a significant presence in the U.S. market.

The Curtis team of lawyers advising Cardiff Holdings was led by partner Lawrence Goodman and associates Douglas Glazer and Adena Schutzman. The award was presented by Global M&A Network at the annual winners circle gala and dinner celebration on Oct. 31 at the Harvard Club of New York.
