PARIS, February 18, 2008 — International law firm Curtis, Mallet-Prevost, Colt & Mosle LLP represented United Arab Emirates' Sama Air LLC in the completion of a second aircraft lease.
Sama Air, the fast-growing airline based in Dubai, which operates in the Gulf under the 'Silver Air' trade name, has taken delivery of its second Boeing 737-300 to further serve the Gulf market.
The aircraft was leased from Ireland's Aergo Leasing 110 Limited, an affiliate of Aergo Capital, a leading commercial aircraft lessor. The Silver Air fleet now includes two Boeing 737-200s and two Boeing 737-300s.
The cross-office Curtis team representing Sama Air was led by partner Eden Quainton and associate Rémy Lerner of the Firm's Paris office and associate Aurélie Janeau of the New York office. Partner Charles Buderi provided support in London and Dubai. New York-based partner Alan Berlin and associate Olga Beloded handled tax issues on the matter.
