DC Partners Speak at ILI Program on International Investment Agreements and Investor-State Arbitration

Washington, D.C. partners Claudia Frutos-Peterson, Justin Jacinto and Borzu Sabahi, together with associate Marat Umerov, are featured speakers at a program entitled, "International Investment Agreements and Investor-State Arbitration," hosted by the International Law Institute in Washington, D.C. on November 26-27, 2018. Attendees include government officials and private practitioners from Hong Kong, Nigeria, Oman, Peru and the Philippines.

Ms. Frutos-Peterson presents on applicable law, source of international law, and role of precedent in ISDS. Mr. Jacinto provided an introduction to international investment agreements and spoke about their implementation. Mr. Sabahi will speak on damages and valuation, and Mr. Umerov will cover corruption in ISDS.
