Curtis Ranked as Top Four Firm for Diversity

New York, December 8. 2015 – Curtis, Mallet-Prevost, Colt & Mosle LLP is ranked 4th among all major law firms on The American Lawyer’s 2015 Diversity Scorecard. Curtis again ranked No. 1 among all law firms in percentage of Latino or Hispanic partners and lawyers, a category which continues to grow quickly in the legal industry, according to Am Law.

The annual American Lawyer Diversity Scorecard measures the average number of full-time-equivalent Asian or Asian-American, black or African-American, Latino or Hispanic and self-described multiracial attorneys at Am Law 200 and National Law Journal 250 law firms employing 154 lawyers or more in 2014. Lawyers of Middle Eastern heritage are not counted as minorities. Each firm's rank is based on the percentage of minority lawyers in its U.S. offices added to the share of U.S.-based minority partners.

Curtis was one of just three firms where minority partners constituted nearly a fifth or more of partners.

Partners L. P. Harrison 3rd and Valarie A. Hing accepted the 2015 Diversity Award for Curtis at a special reception hosted by American Lawyer Media on December 3 in New York.
