Curtis Welcomes Corporate Partner Caroline Ledoux in the Paris Office
News 08 Jul. 2025
Paris/London, July 10, 2025 – Curtis, Mallet-Prevost, Colt & Mosle LLP is pleased to announce the addition of Caroline Ledoux as a partner in its Paris office, significantly strengthening the firm's corporate transactional capabilities across France and the broader European market.
Ms. Ledoux brings over two decades of distinguished experience in domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, restructurings, and joint ventures. Her addition further enhances the firm's ability to service corporate clients with comprehensive transactional capabilities, building on the firm's successful partnership with the well-regarded French corporate firm Bichot & Associés in 2021. Ms. Ledoux has previously worked with the founding partners of Bichot & Associés and their practice has synergies rounding out Curtis’ corporate offerings.
"Caroline's extensive experience and stellar reputation in the French M&A market make her an exceptional addition to our Paris team," said Geoffroy Lyonnet, Managing Partner in Curtis Paris. "Her deep understanding of complex cross-border transactions and proven track record with leading international clients perfectly aligns with our strategic vision for overall growth."
Having worked with prominent international law firms, her practice encompasses significant transactions across diverse sectors, spanning financial services, energy and infrastructure, and information technology. She has specific expertise advising energy companies on acquisitions and refinancing transactions, private equity and other leading investment firms on strategic acquisitions and investments, and shareholders on technology innovation-related investments.
Ms. Ledoux also brings substantial experience in corporate litigation matters, particularly shareholders' disputes, providing clients with comprehensive strategic counsel across the full spectrum of corporate challenges. Her cross-border expertise extends to advising international clients on complex transactions involving French regulatory frameworks, particularly in foreign investment controls and sector-specific regulations.
Ms. Ledoux's professional excellence has been consistently recognized by leading legal publications. She was listed in Best Lawyers France 2023 for Mergers and Acquisitions Law and recognized as Highly Regarded in IFLR1000 Global for France M&A and Private Equity in 2022. Her thought leadership is evidenced by numerous publications on foreign investment controls, post-COVID M&A transactions, and corporate governance matters.
Ms. Ledoux holds a Master II in Business Law from the University of Paris V Descartes (1996) and a Master II in Corporate Finance from the University of Paris X – Nanterre and IHFI (2015). She was admitted to the Paris Bar in 2000 and is fluent in both French and English.
This strategic addition reflects Curtis' ongoing commitment to growing its comprehensive corporate practice in the European market. Ms. Ledoux's appointment demonstrates Curtis' dedication to attracting top-tier legal talent and providing clients with sophisticated counsel on their most complex cross-border transactions and corporate matters throughout Europe.
