In its latest 2010/2011 rankings, Germany's leading legal news publication JUVE has named Curtis, Mallet-Prevost, Colt & Mosle LLP again one of the leading mergers and acquisitions law firms in Germany and a generally recommended firm in the Frankfurt legal market. The firm's Frankfurt office has been repeatedly included in these prestigious annual rankings which identify the top law firms in various practice areas and regions across Germany.
Curtis is one of 11 firms listed in the Frankfurt mergers and acquisitions section and one of the top tier firms in Frankfurt of this year's edition of the JUVE Handbook. In the write-up for the firm, JUVE notes in particular an increased market awareness of the Frankfurt office during the years 2009 and 2010.
Established in 1990, the Curtis Frankfurt office is composed of German-qualified lawyers, certified tax advisors and certified labor law practitioners who integrate seamlessly with lawyers in other firm offices to meet the business needs of clients in Germany and throughout the world. Our Frankfurt-based lawyers provide full transactional practice capabilities, representing buyers, sellers, and strategic and financial investors in both purely German domestic matters and multi-jurisdictional mergers and acquisitions. The team also advises on business set-ups, joint ventures, and general corporate law, and represents clients in all types of banking, debt/equity capital markets and investment management transactions, including securities offerings and placements, fund formation and debt restructuring. In addition to handling matters throughout Germany and the European Union, the office is also well-known for its experience in matters pertaining to Turkey, Dubai, Oman and Kazakhstan.
