New York-based partner Simon Batifort co-authors chapter in The Investment Treaty Arbitration Review

Partner Simon Batifort of the International Arbitration Group at Curtis co-authored a chapter in the recently published second edition of The Investment Treaty Arbitration Review. The chapter, “Third-Party Funding: Security for Costs and Other Key Issues,” reviews key issues arising from the relatively recent phenomenon of third-party funding in investment treaty arbitration, including the potential effect of third-party funding on conflicts of interest, security for costs and jurisdiction.

The Investment Treaty Arbitration Review, published by the parent company of Global Arbitration Review, provides a current perspective on developments and debates in investment treaty arbitration from prominent counsel in the field.
