Investment Arbitration: Jurisdiction and Procedure

Associates Simon Batifort and Christina Trahanas of Curtis' International Arbitration Group wrote a chapter in the recently published 6th edition of The International Arbitration Review. The chapter, 'Investment Arbitration: Jurisdiction and Procedure,' reviews developments in investment arbitration in 2014 and 2015, with a focus on jurisdictional and procedural issues. During this period, significant decisions were rendered on several important issues, including consent to multiparty disputes, whether sovereign bonds constitute 'investments', and security for costs.

The International Arbitration Review, published by the parent company of Global Arbitration Review, provides business focused legal analysis of the year's most significant arbitration matters and their commercial implications from prominent counsel in the most significant jurisdictions.
