Mr. Candelaria is ranked among the top Latin American Investment lawyers in the United States. He has focused his practice on corporate transactions, private equity and capital markets. Mr. Candelaria has widespread experience representing national oil companies, oil and gas services companies and their financing sources. “Bill Candelaria is a terrific addition to Curtis,” said Matias A. He is admitted to practice law in the states of New York and California. Mr. Candelaria serves on the Board of Directors of the New York City Economic Development Corporation to which he was appointed by Mayor Michael Bloomberg in 2005. He chairs the Audit committee and also is a member of the Executive and Governance Committees.
Mr. Candelaria is a member of the national Board of Directors of the Mexican American Legal Defense & Education Fund.
