Ms. Della Rosa advises international premium brands on their commercial operations and IP portfolio management in Italy, the U.S. and internationally. Her career spans both private practice and business affairs: she previously worked as Associate General Counsel with Levi Strauss and Gucci, where she acted as Worldwide General Counsel on the Gucci, Bottega Veneta and Sergio Rossi brands, while serving on the Board of Directors for a number of Gucci Group companies. She has also worked in private practice in Rome, Milan, Washington, D.C. and Brussels, giving her excellent insight into EU regulations, including environmental, social and governance (ESG) regulations .
Ms. Della Rosa possesses a strategic understanding and insight into the particular commercial and legal challenges faced by premium brands that operate internationally.
She has performed the role of independent general counsel for a number of major companies and brand owners in the Italian and UK markets. In this unique role, she has supported mergers and acquisitions, given traditional legal advice, as well as led bespoke in-house trainings to commercial teams and legal departments on risk management and corporate governance.
She advises brand owners on all aspects of luxury multi-channel distribution (such as retail, concessions, franchising, and e-commerce), consumer and intellectual property protection as well as technology practices in various sectors, from food to fashion and design. Her practice includes:
