Grant Olson is an associate in the corporate and intellectual property groups.
His practice involves a wide range of corporate matters, from mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance matters, to commercial transactions, as well as the structuring and formation of private investment funds. His experience includes drafting, preparing and analyzing principal operating documents for legal entities, including investment funds, and ancillary documentation for corporate and commercial transactions, and conducting and documenting legal due diligence. He also has experience in filing international registrations for clients’ trademark protection.
Additionally, Mr. Olson graduated with a certificate in International and Comparative Law, enabling him to better advise clients foreign and domestic on the international implications of U.S. legal regimes. Mr. Olson has particular expertise in cross-border regulatory work advising clients on navigating the CFIUS regulatory regime, BIS import and export controls, and acquiring FAA vehicle operator licenses
Mr. Olson has an active pro-bono practice centered on drafting bylaws and incorporation documents for non-profit organizations participating in a wide range of charitable endeavors; he has helped several clients navigate IRS and state incorporation requirements and the acquisition of 501(c)(3) status.
