Based in New York, Robert C. Ruggiero is an associate in the firm’s Litigation group. Mr. Ruggiero’s work is specialized in complex litigation, where he has worked on cases involving non-U.S. large corporate and sovereign plaintiffs and defendants.
Mr. Ruggiero has experience working on matters advising clients on the export of military-relevant items, compliance with international sanctions, and other general sanctions issues. Additionally, he has advised large multinational clients in complex litigations involving product liability and toxic torts.
Prior to joining Curtis, Mr. Ruggiero was the Vice President of Business Development for a medical device start-up based in New York City. He also worked in Business Development at Fedcap Rehabilitation Services, Inc., a non-profit that provides employment opportunities and vocational training for individuals with disabilities. During his time in law school, Mr. Ruggiero served as a legal intern at the Office of the Attorney General of the State of New Jersey, where he gained experience in the investigation and prosecution of professionals who allegedly violated state board regulations. Mr. Ruggiero was a member of the Seton Hall Legislative Journal. He is a citizen of both the United States and Italy.
