Elisa Botero Participates as Panelist and Tribunal Chair in the 6th Annual Investment Arbitration Moot Competition

Associate Elisa Botero participated as a panelist and arbitrator in the 6th Annual Investment Arbitration Moot Competition. The competition took place from April 8-12 in Bogotá, Colombia, and was organized by American University Washington College of Law and Universidad Externado de Colombia.

Ms. Botero spoke on the opening panel, alongside representatives from Colombia’s Attorney General’s Office and the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Tourism of Colombia, about challenges and opportunities for States in the pre-arbitral phase of investment disputes. She also chaired the Tribunal for the competition’s final round.
