Curtis assisted Fiera Milano S.p.A., the Milan-based global leading trade show organizer listed on the Milan stock exchange, in the negotiation of a joint venture agreement with Saudi Event Management and Marketing Company.

This agreement is aimed to the organization and promotion of a new annual trade fair, Host Arabia, to be attended by professional hospitality and HoReCa’s top players following the pattern and international success of Host Milano.

This project marks Fiera Milano’s entry in Saudi Arabia and offers a unique opportunity to enhance international dialogue and promote Made in Italy in a strategic area, responding to the extraordinary growth of the Saudi hospitality market.

Giovanni A. Sagramoso led a multi-practice and a multi-jurisdictional team composed by Maria Elena Sarvia, who assisted in the drafting of the joint venture agreement and Gaia Morelli, who oversaw the cross border data privacy aspects. Local law compliance aspects were reviewed by Marcus S. Latta and Ali Mohammed Alqahtani of the Riyadh office, while Jeremy Miocevic has assisted with the joint venture dispute resolution aspects.
