Curtis Attorneys to Convene BIICL Panel on “Mining Disputes: ISDS, ESG, and Valuation Challenges”

On November 11, 2025, Curtis partners Luciana Ricart and Lise Johnson will be jointly convening a panel with Prof. Yarik Kryvoi of the BIICL (British Institute of International and Comparative Law) both in London and online.

The panel "Mining Disputes: ISDS, ESG, and Valuation Challenges" will be moderated by London associate Arthad Kurlekar and will feature London partner Juan Carlos Boué as speaker, together with Mining Sector Consultant Richard Bowley, Monica Feria-Tinta, barrister at Twenty Essex, and M. Lourdes Martínez de Victoria Gómez of the Attorney General’s Office of the Kingdom of Spain.

The session will explore the valuation of mining projects in ISDS and how States can protect their regulatory space for ESG measures.
