Mr. Miocevic focuses his corporate and commercial practice on the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and other Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. He advises on strategically significant mergers & acquisitions and corporate commercial work, market-leading private equity deals, and venture capital investments in the region.
As well as advising European, US and Asian corporations with respect to investments in the region, Mr. Miocevic also advises the largest regional investment banks, private equity houses and corporations on their acquisitions, disposals and other transactions within the region and internationally. Due to his knowledge and experience with the laws and regulations of the region and in particular the UAE, he is often required to provide general corporate and regulatory advice.
Mr. Miocevic advises the full range of industry sectors, with particular experience in logistics and supply chain management, water treatment, food and beverage, media and publishing, financial services and retail.
His significant experience in the GCC advising on corporate, commercial and investment matters means he has developed strong relationships with important clients in the region who come to him for strategic disputes advice. As such, Mr. Miocevic also works closely with Curtis’ International Arbitration and Litigation groups with respect to corporate disputes, in particular with respect to strategy on multi-forum disputes involving the UAE concerning shareholder, boardroom or governance issues.
