With a focus on commercial dispute resolution, Sabine Schmidt has extensive experience in litigation and arbitration and also advises domestic and international clients on disputes, mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions and other commercial matters.
Ms. Schmidt specializes in the field of litigation and arbitration with a focus on corporate (especially post-M&A) disputes and banking litigation. She represents domestic and international clients in state court and arbitration proceedings including proceedings conducted under the auspices of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), the German Institution of Arbitration (DIS) and ad hoc arbitrations. She also has experience in international litigation and investor-state arbitrations. Ms. Schmidt acts as counsel, and frequently serves as arbitrator.
Ms. Schmidt also advises domestic and international clients on mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, business formation and structuring as well as sales and distribution contracts. Her clients include logistics and manufacturing companies, financial market participants, service suppliers and real estate management companies. She has been granted the title of Accredited Specialist in Commercial and Corporate Law (Fachanwältin für Handels- und Gesellschaftsrecht) by the Frankfurt Bar Association.
