Marc V. Kramer is widely recognized for his financial markets, asset management and investment funds expertise. He advises funds and fund managers, financial services providers and investors on German, EU and international legal and regulatory aspects of professional asset and investment management across all asset classes. He is particularly attuned to the unique requirements, challenges and concerns relevant to regulated institutional investors and family offices. In addition, Mr. Kramer runs a well-established sports law practice advising clubs, athletes, coaches, agencies and investors on German and international sports law and regulations.
Mr. Kramer and his team work for numerous German and international asset and investment managers including banks, insurance companies, pension funds and plans, Sovereign Wealth Funds (SWF) and family offices. Combining profound expertise and long-standing experience in domestic and cross-border asset management across all asset classes and a plethora of investment products with banking and insurance regulations. Mr. Kramer has relevant expert knowledge in areas that include securities, banking and finance, corporate/M&A, real estate and investment tax. Mr. Kramer and the team are called on for day-to-day stand-alone and transactional advice.

Mr. Kramer’s additional practice features in-depth knowledge relating to all legal and regulatory aspects of German and international professional sports, particularly in basketball, soccer and other team sports. He provides legal advice and represents clubs, athletes, coaches, agencies, sponsors and investors. Mr. Kramer assists with contract negotiations and all sorts of out-of-court activities as well as disputes.
