On Dec. 13, 2019 partner Charles Howland co-led a roundtable at the biannual Brownfields 2019 Conference in Los Angeles, California on the topic of “Microgrids on Brownfields - a Public-Private Business Model.” Charlie’s talk focused on legal issues associated with acquisition, permitting, liability, and electricity market participation of microgrids on environmentally impaired land.
The conference is the largest gathering of brownfield developers, owners, investors, engineering firms and other consultants in the U.S. More information is available here.
