Joseph Muschitiello is a member of Curtis’ Commercial Litigation group based in New York.
Mr. Muschitiello focuses his practice on representing sovereign states and private-sector clients in a broad range of complex litigation matters. He has worked on a diverse portfolio of cases spanning federal class actions, antitrust disputes, breach of contract actions, and international award enforcement proceedings, providing him with experience across multiple stages of high-stakes commercial litigation. His experience includes drafting federal and state appellate briefs, dispositive motions, petitions for certiorari / amicus briefs in the Supreme Court of the United States, as well as preparing for and taking depositions. Mr. Muschitiello has experience in all phases of litigation, including discovery and trial preparation. Mr. Muschitiello is also active in Curtis’ pro bono practice.
During law school, Mr. Muschitiello completed internships at the Second Circuit Court of Appeals, the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, and the Supreme Court of the State of New York, Appellate Division. Mr. Muschitiello was Associate Managing editor of the American Bankruptcy Institute Law Review and a member of the Moot Court Honor Society.
