Amir Mahdavi is an associate in the International Arbitration and Litigation groups. His practice focuses on international commercial arbitration, the enforcement of arbitral awards, cross-border commercial litigation and public international disputes.

International Arbitration and Litigation

Mr. Mahdavi has represented sovereign states, state-owned entities and multinational companies in international arbitrations under the rules of major arbitral institutions, including the DIFC-LCIA, London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA), the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), the Swiss Chambers’ Arbitration Institution (SCAI) and the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC), with seats in Amsterdam, Dubai, Geneva, Johannesburg, London, Paris and Singapore. He has also represented clients in ad-hoc United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL) proceedings.

Mr. Mahdavi has represented clients on commercial litigation proceedings before the High Court, Court of Appeal and Supreme Court of England and Wales.

Mr. Mahdavi’s experience covers disputes arising out of energy projects; mergers and acquisitions; government policies; sanctions listings; financial services agreements; and cross-border supply and distribution agreements.
