Fuad Zarbiyev, counsel of the Firm in Geneva and Associate Professor of International Law at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies, has been nominated for membership in the International Law Commission.
The Commission is an expert body of the United Nations mandated to encourage the progressive development of international law and its codification. The members of the Commission are to be elected by the United Nations General Assembly from a list of candidates nominated by the Governments of members of the United Nations.
