Curtis’ Diversity & Inclusion Committee hosted a reception introducing the firm’s LGBTQ+Allies Initiative in New York on June 9, 2022, in honor of Pride month. The event brought together many senior partners, as well as associates and staff, to celebrate all colors of the Curtis rainbow over drinks and hors d’oeuvres. During the reception, members of the Diversity & Inclusion Committee, the Women’s Initiative and the LGBTQ+Allies Initiative shared anecdotes about the firm’s support for the LGBTQ+ community over the years, and its work to create an increasingly diverse and inclusive environment and culture.
The new LGBTQ+Allies Initiative will build on the efforts of the Diversity & Inclusion Committee and Women’s Initiative to create a formal support network for LGBTQ+ employees and allies, to embrace and increase gender diversity at Curtis, and to promote awareness and inclusion at all levels.
