Curtis Victory in Compelling Arbitration Covered by Law360

On August 20, 2012, Justice Charles Ramos of the New York Supreme Court granted Curtis client PricewaterhouseCoopers' motion to stay an action brought by the Fross Zelnick law firm and compel arbitration of Fross's claims. Fross Zelnick brought the state court action alleging that PWC understated the law firm's pension plan liabilities. However, as Curtis argued (and Justice Ramos agreed), the parties' engagement agreement contains an arbitration clause covering the matter in dispute.

The Curtis team representing PricewaterhouseCoopers consists of partner Eliot Lauer, counsel Jason Gottlieb, and associate Ada Anon.
