Juan Perla’s Argument in D.C. Circuit Featured on Audio Arguendo Podcast

Partner Juan Perla argued in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit yesterday, May 9, 2022, before Chief Judge Srinivasan and Judges Tatel and Katsas in State of Libya v. Strabag. The question presented was whether an arbitral award should be vacated under the Federal Arbitration Act where the arbitrators refused to decide an issue and did so based upon "fairness," rather than the law, or whether the award should be modified to avoid a double recovery. The argument was featured on Audio Arguendo, a podcast curating unedited arguments from courts in the U.S. and around the world.

You can listen to Juan's argument on Apple Podcasts or other podcast streaming services.
