Middle East based partner Taimur Malik speaks at CIBAFI's International Seminar on Risk Management and Compliance

Middle East partner Taimur Malik spoke at an International Seminar on Risk Management and Compliance in Islamic Financial Institutions: Key Trends and Market Practices. The Seminar was organized by the General Council for Islamic Banks and Financial Institutions (CIBAFI) and supported by the Islamic Development Bank.

His talk focused on regulatory developments, compliance issues and capacity building in AML/CTF for Islamic Financial Institutions. The other panelists icluded the Director of Oman's Financial Intelligence Unit, Head of Compliance of Bank Muscat and the Head of Islamic Finance and Risk Management Research at the Indonesian Deposit Insurance Corporation.

The Seminar was held on 20th and 21st of January 2016 at the Al Bustan Palace Hotel in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman.
