Trusts and Estates partner Michael S. Schwartz and associate Joshua Bergman are speaking at the New York States Bar Association’s (NYSBA) CLE Program titled, “The Anatomy of a Trust.” This program, which Mr. Schwartz is helping to organize, will be presented by the Association’s Trusts & Estate Law Section and the Committee on Continuing Legal Education on May 31, 2019. Mr. Schwartz has been recently named the First District Representative for the New York State Bar Association’s Trusts and Estates Section.
Designed to be beneficial for both newly admitted attorneys and practicing Trusts & Estates attorneys, this CLE-accredited session will provide the attendees an overview and a refresher on creating and drafting different types of trusts based on client’s goals. The panel of speakers will elaborate on the benefits of revocable and irrevocable, lifetime and testamentary trust options, including Marital and Credit Shelter Trusts, Grantor Trusts and Life Insurance Trusts.
